First of all, after bath use an absorbent #microfibretowel to squeeze off excess water but DO NOT RUB on the #coat.
Once water is gently squeezed off your #dogscoat, use a dryer to
start blow drying in low speed and lukewarm temperature. Be careful to not burn your #dog. Move the dryer to various parts of the body to ensure even drying of the #coat. Let your #dog shake off excess water. Use a dry super absorbent towel on the base of the #bath or table so the dog can stand on. This eliminates the risk of slipping plus it helps water to get absorbed under the feet.
When your #dog is 90% #dry, get your #pinbrush or #slickerbrush and start #brushing gently against the #grain (starting from the back of the #dog and #brushing towards the back of the neck/head) while simultaneously you keep blow-drying the #coat.
keep #brushing and #blowdrying until the #coat is dry.
Spray some #leaveonconditioner to moisturize the hair and help with the brushing process. You can get an #antidetangler to help prevent #mats and #knots.
Use your #metalcomb and #comb through the #coat until there is no resistance and the #comb just glides effortlessly through the #dogscoat.
Job done!
Your #dog will thank you for it! Apart from the softness and #matfree #coat, you are helping 'reset' the #hair and give a chance for a healthy coat management in between #professionalgrooming appointments.
